Music that even make Altecs sound bad;
Uriah Heep was my favorite band growing up. They were my first concert in 1976 at 16 years old. Lead guitarist Mick Box played with a cast on his right wrist, but who needs fingers when you have a wall of Marshalls and a Morley fuzz-wah?
Uriah Heep Live was my very first LP. I'm still waiting for it to come out in 24/96KHz on HDTracks. I think I'll be waiting a long time.
Mick Box, Lee Kerslake, David Byron, Gary Thain (RIP) & Ken Hensley
Sadly Gary Thain died in 1975 so I never got to see my hero bass player. John Wetton (King Crimson) replaced him.
Back up band: Blue Oyster Cult. Back up band's back up band: Atlanta Rhythm Section. Quite a night for a 16 year old.

By far........................... my favorite audio related Tubes!
If you never got to see these guys live at least once, what a shame.
Thank you Todd Rundgren.

Great band! I've seen the Tubes live several times -- always a great show. One of my favorite full length concert videos is "The Tubes - Live at the Greek" from 1979. A must for any Tubes fan--here's a clip (a shame whoever uploaded this didn't use a hi fi stereo VHS player--the stereo sound on this VHS is amazing)....

I saw Todd Rundgren this summer in Buffalo, NY and he's still touring with Tubes drummer Prairie Prince--here are some (blurry) photos from the show which show Prairie Prince and Utopia bass player Kasim Sulton......
I have a bunch of great photos from a Tubes concert in the 90's here in Rochester, NY but I'd have to scan them (taken before I had a digital camera) to post them and that's work!![]()
